A guide to the colours:

Anchovy - pale green with a little pale blue and yellow through

Back Country - olive and brown dominant with a little yellow, blue and green

Black - black with some red through it

Chartreuse - a blend of chartreuse and yellow

Mullet - grey and olive with a little black and yellow

Pinfish - a lighter version of Mullet with more yellow and a touch of green

Ocean Blue - 3 or 4 dufferent blues giving a mixed mid-blue effect

Purple - purple with a little red and black through

These fibres were developed to copy the wing colouration of the flies of the Ephemera, the upwing or May Flies. They work well as spent wings, posts, shucks and can also be used in stonefly imitations. The generous hank of fibres is a mix of various colours to create the desired blend for a particular fly.

The fibres will take a permanent marker pen well and are treated with Watershed to give them additional buoyancy without the need for silicon dressings or other floatants.

The uses to which the fibres can be put is extending all the time, chopped they make great dubbing material, tied in a bunch they can make detached bodies or they can be wound to give distinctive bodies on a range of flies, nymphs or lures.

This tippet material is made of 100% nylon recombined with closed microcells so as not to absorb water and prolong life. The colour is achived during construction of the nylon, not added after, so as to avoid changes in the product. The resultant colour camouflages the monofilament so that it is invisible in both fresh and saltwater. The nylon has a silicone finish to render it smooth and uniform.

A great allround nylon , great knot strength, memory free.
