Polar Bear Fur
Most attractive sparkling fibres that are added (a few fibres only) to tails of salmon flies - more subtle and effective than synthetic sparkle materials. The specific structure of the fur, hollow like an optical fibre, ensures the light reflective/refractive effect. Even the underfur is hollow and makes an interesting dubbing. Each piece of hide was approximately 5cm. by 5cm. before dying (a little shrinkage takes place during the dying process). The colours available include natural, blue, orange, purple, red and yellow. Cites documentation is available for this batch of fur, a copy will be included with fur order if requested.

Snowshow Hare's Foot
The fur from the underside of the foot has water repellent properties that can help a fly to float without the aid of added floatants. The natural fur is fine and can make a most effective dubbing as well as being bunched to make a wing; it can also be tied in a spent style. There is a single foot in each pack which has enough of the special fur for many flies. The feet are available in the natural colour or dyed dun or olive.
