This product was developed to meet the need for soft, realistic nymph tying material. It is a fine stretchable tube that can be wound as a body (with a taper formed using differing tension when winding). The high stretchability gives you the capability to tie nymphs from size 4 - 16.
Its hollow construction enables other materials such as krystal flash or a contrasting coloured thread or wire to be threaded through it giving a two tone effect.

An open celled foam, 4mm thick, that is pre-cut in widths of 6mm or 3mm with both widths on ech sheet. Each pack contains a sheet of 8inches x 4inches (sorry about the mixed units - not under my control!).
The foam is used to wrap nymphs, grubs, streamers or wet flies to give a most life like appearance. By altering the tension on the foam during the winding process a realistic profile can be easily built up or it can be brought over the back of a fly for a most novel effect.
Because it is quite coarse and open celled it will absorb water allowing weighted flies to sink. It is available in black or white. (The white will take a pen to create almost any colour required or to add spots etc.) Price: £2.60 (€3.72)
A clear mono thread, ideal when you want the colour of the underbody to show through. The fine is clear with a breaking strain of 1kg. The fine was originally used for Pike and saltwater flies but has proved really versatile and can be used for everything including Trout and Grayling flies.
